Mr Mark J Lynch - Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer
FAICD
 

Mr Mark Lynch has been actively involved in gold exploration and mining for over 28 years, in both private and public companies. Mr Lynch has extensive hands-on experience in mine operations and management from the pegging of mining leases through to pouring gold bars. During his career he has maintained a competitive focus on business efficiency centred around strategic planning and innovation. He held the position of Director of the Queensland Resources Council for six years. He is currently a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Mr Lynch heads up the Dubai office and is the driving force behind the company’s strategic vision to focus on growing the gold business in a way that adds value for shareholders.


Christopher Towsey - Chief Operating Officer
BSc (Hons), MSc, Dip Ed, FAusIMM, CP, MMICA, MAIG, MSME, MAICD
  Mr Christopher Towsey is a chartered professional geologist. He has almost 30 years of corporate and operational experience in the mining industry, having worked with BHP Minerals Exploration, Mount Isa Mines Limited, Emperor Mines Limited (Fiji), Century Drilling and the South African underground mine safety system and audit specialists, the National Occupational Safety Association Limited (NOSA). He served as Chief Geologist and Executive Manager, Exploration, of Emperor Mines, lifting the company's gold resources to three million ounces. As assessed in accordance with the JORC code, during his tenure Emperor Mines won the prestigious Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy Ore Reserve Reporting Award in 1997 and again the following year. During his professional career, Mr Towsey has also served as General Manager, Minerals, of Century Drilling and General Manager of NOSA Australia. Mr Towsey is a Director of the Queensland Resources. He has been with Citigold Corporation for over 5 years and leads our gold operations team, including mining and gold discovery.

Matthew Martin - Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary
CA, B.Com
  Mr Matthew Martin graduated from Sydney University in 1998, following completion of his Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) degree. He was admitted as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia in 2002. Mr Martin has worked in various roles as part of several international teams, including Project Accountant with Dexia Banque Internationale in London, Systems and Compliance Manager with the First Group (transport group), Forensic Accountant with BDO Stoy Hayward and Business Services Manager with JD Matthews & Associates. He has an extensive working knowledge of the, and the Australian Accounting Standards. In his dual position with Citigold, Mr Martin's work on capital raising, cost control, management reporting, budgeting, capital expenditure and project analysis, is instrumental in the development of the Charters Towers Project and the company's future growth.

Garry Foord - General Manager Mining
AD (Mining Eng) Dip Geoscience MAIMM METM, JP
  With over 30 years experience as a mining engineer developing and coordinating mining and exploration projects, Mr Garry Foord has held several technical, operating and management positions throughout his extensive career. He has also worked as a guest lecturer in the Department of Mining and Metallurgical Engineering at the University of Queensland. Mr Foord holds tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Mineral Economics from Macquarie University, a Masters degree in Engineering and Technology Management from the University of Queensland, as well as First Class Mine Manager’s certificates from Queensland and Western Australia. In his current role, he is responsible for the development and management of Citigold's engineering projects, including improving systems to increase output and reduce operating costs.

Jim Morrison - Exploration Manager
MSc, DIC, FRMIT, FAusIMM (CP), MAIG, FAAG
  Mr Jim Morrison has 40 years professional experience in the field of mining exploration, resource evaluation and mine development. A graduate in geology from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and holding a Master of Science (Minerals Exploration) degree from the Imperial College of Science and Technology, University of London, he has worked for Australian Development, Metals Exploration, Shell, Normandy, Resolute and as part of the Western Australia Mines Department Geological Survey Team.  He is also an active committee member of the North Queensland Branch of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and is currently a board member of the Economic Geology Research Unit at James Cook University. Since joining Citigold Corporation in 1999, he has worked in a number of roles, including Contract Geologist and Mine Manager. As the company's Exploration Manager and Chief Geologist, Mr Morrison leads the team to increase the company’s ore reserves and mineral resources.
