Nestled 128k south-west of tropical Townsville, Charters Towers is an extraordinary town with a rich history of gold mining and plenty of places of interest to the traveller. There are several travel options, depending on where you begin your journey...

 


Virgin Blue, Qantas and Jetstar have regular flights from various Australian cities to Townsville, from where you could hire a car, catch a bus/train or hire a private aircraft or helicopter to fly to Charters Towers.
